Ania Caprio

Senior Vice President, Marketing & Corporate Strategy

Being a hands-on marketing professional for over 15 years, I have had the privilege of working across diverse industries. However, it is the dynamic and ever-evolving auction world that truly captivates me with its unique challenges. My role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including design, video editing, content writing, and analytics. I am constantly driven to enhance our business approach by implementing industry best practices and investing in systems that yield favorable sales outcomes. As an active ambassador for Integra, I wholeheartedly support our business development initiatives, engage in philanthropic activities, and uphold our core values as a company. Continual improvement and the pursuit of excellence are at the heart of my endeavors, ensuring that our team remains at the forefront of the industry.

  • Tell me one of your pet peeves
People who are rude to those in the service industry, albeit restaurant servers, grocery store personnel, cleaning staff, flight attendants, etc. We are all human beings deserving of respect, don’t act like you are above anyone else.
  • Cats or dogs?
Dogs, for sure. However, my relationship to cats resembles that of people who enjoy being aunts/uncles, but do not want kids of their own. You get to visit and have fun playing with them, but at the end of the day, you say “bye” and are thankful they are not going home with you.
  • If people didn't have to work to earn a paycheck but simply have any profession they enjoy, what would you be doing?
I always wanted to live on a large piece of land, so I could provide a home for animals in need - dogs, goats, pigs, ducks, horses - any animal in need of saving.
  • If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Somewhere warm, close to a beach, with a big backyard and pool for my family to enjoy.
  • If we went to happy hour, what would you order?
Tito’s with soda and a lime. Unless I’m in the mood for wine, then a refreshing white blend would be right up my alley.
  • How do you want people to remember you?
A kind person with a big heart.
  • What are some causes you care about?
Helping those less fortunate, encouraging female leadership, and protecting animals from abuse.
  • Finish this sentence. On Saturday mornings, you can usually find me…
At the farmer’s market by our house, after which, we get our daughter down for a nap and I eagerly await my husband’s exquisite "Toast of the French People."
  • What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
I wear many hats in order to do what needs to be done, and oftentimes figuring out how to do something I’ve never done before. I am relentless, driven to succeed, and determined to get it done right.
  • How do you think your colleagues would describe you?
    Driven and creative.
  • What would be your personal motto?
Instead of saying, "I don’t know," say, "let me find out."
